USAQ: Draw and Gild

Today is US Art Quest’s very first design team post! What’s even more exciting is we’re doing a blog hop complete with a giveaway! What are we giving away you ask?

Now, with out further ado, my project! (You can click on the photos to see the detail better.)

This was very simple. First, I picked a stamp. Then I used a piece of foam cut and dry to apply duo to the stamp itself. I then stamped the image on the piece of white cardstock. Once the duo was dry (but sticky) I laid down the Gildenglitz over top of the stamped areas and then used the textured sponge to rub away the Gilding.

  6. Great job! Gotta love projects that are really simple to do but look like they took forever.

    The guilding is just enough to decorate the fram without detracting from the picture.

  11. Wonderful use of the gilding on the frame! I will have to remember the tip to use the cut ‘n dry to apply the Duo adhesive to a stamp.
