.PTI hop.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m so glad you’re here. I hope you’re enjoying the time with your family! I have to say, one crazy tradition that I’ve carried through out the years, watching Home Alone! It’s usually on after the football game! My cousins and I use to watch it every single year! And still do! What kind of traditions do you have?

Please note: if you subscribe to my blog, you will receive a confirmation via email, and you do have to confirm your subscription in order for it to process completely. (Email may go to your junk box until it is confirmed.) Otherwise, you are not entered into any of the giveaways, and that’s no fun. 😦

I thought since we’re doing a PTI hop, I ought to give away something… PTI-ish. So… I’m going to give away a $25 gift certificate to Papertrey Ink. How does that sound?

Now that we’ve got that outta the way… On with the hop!

If you know me, one thing you know is… i LOVE STARS!! I have three tattooed on my wrist… see…

So when I saw Papertrey’s stars… how could I resist? (Not much of a tag, I know, but… it’ll be beautiful on my tree!)

AND… I’ve been working on altering a book. 🙂

Here are my first two pages… I used Neo Watercolor Crayons.

Quote reads: “All our young lives we search for someone to love, someone to make us complete. We dance to a song of heart beak and hope, all the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, someone perfect is searching for us.” Fred Savage.

I actually used Papertrey Dies on this page, from the Up! Up! And away! Collection. 🙂

And gearing up for Easter is the Hare from Earth Art International!

Happy Thursday!! I can’t believe the week is almost over, though, I’m very glad! Looking forward to the weekend, and some time with my hubby!

On the 19th I did a tutorial over at ScrapTiffany. I made this welcome sign using a piece of acrylic.

The week of October 11th the challenge over at ScrapTiffany was to scrap scenery photos.

The week of the 18th the challenge over at ScrapTiffany was to make a banner! RIGHT up my ally!

Some cards I’ve recently made:

Copics: YR15, YR18, Y38
Stamp: Papertrey Ink Tea For Two.

Copics: R22, R43, E00, E37, E57, BG09, BG10, BG72, V05, V06, V09
Stamp: Stamping Bella Phoebe by Ketto

Copcis: RV19

The kids found this sweet little caterpillar hanging around outside the house. Do you have a clever caption for it? I was thinking something like… ‘hang in there’ but… that’s not very fun!

I spent last weekend in Chicago. I went for the Intermediate Copic Certification. I must say, I had an awesome time!

I met Jenn Balcer (again) and Beate Johns. We had so much fun!! xoxo

And one last thing before I go! Erin of Schlosser Designs is doing a blog hop on Wednesday November 3rd. She’s going to have some awesome specials, and a give away too! Here’s a peek at one of the new stamps offered in the Autumn Blessings set.

Copics: YR04, YR07, YR09, YR18, YG95, YG97, BG10

Phew, I think that’s it!! See you all on Wednesday!
