Art Impressions: Up Town Girls!

Hi out there in blog land! I have a quick post for today…

Uptown Girls is available from Art Impressions in a set with three sentiments.

Here are the colors I used to color this image. Don’t fall over… it’s a lot, but remember, I colored four ladies- all very different! The round one is C3.

Copic offers four different types of gray. Cool, Neutral, Warm and Toner. I wanted to use all four in the image I colored so you could see the way they looked together. I’m the kind of person that can’t wear black on black if they’re two different tones of black.

If you’re not familiar with Copic’s variety of gray’s check out this post comparing and contrasting, and explaining what each gray is for… UNDERSTANDING GRAY.

I will be teaching an online class in the next two-ish weeks. I’m just waiting on a new webcam to arrive- my current webcam is not compatible with my computer anymore. Darn technology changing faster than I can keep up! If you would be interested in learning how to color to add dimension to your images, please check back in the next week for more information about the class. You can also leave a comment or email me to let me know you’re interested. My email is: seats will be limited so there’s enough time to work with everyone individually.

The class will be $10-15, and will last for one hour. I’ll talk more about the set up and the classroom, but, if you have a webcam, you’ll be able to show me what you’re coloring, and ask questions if there’s something you don’t quite understand. It’s all very exciting!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by! xo

Check back tomorrow for my first Anything But A Card post!

  1. What size die cut did you use and by whom for the girls. I have the stamp set but I just can’t find the right size die cut.
